Miniature Dachshund make the perfect family dog. They are easy to care for, extremely loving and affectionate. There small statue make them wonderful pets if space is limited. Dachshund are extremely loyal and protective to their owners so don't be surprised if you are followed around the house. If anybody comes to the door you will have a little security sausage make you aware. Breed to search out badgers they tend to have a natural instinct to sniff out and chase rabbits, squirls and other animals, my doxie (ducks). You will fall in love with their gentle loving little selves. They really enjoy to snuggle with their owners and love to burrow down in a blanket.
